Project Summary
Fusion worked with Croydon College to transform an existing space to create a new clinical simulation centre to support nursing qualifications. The Centre includes a hospital standard 6 bed ward space, with realistic clean and dirty utility spaces, 2 community care rooms, and ancillary teaching and storage space. Fusion managed the design team during the pre-construction stage to ensure the design complied with both the College’s vision and the requirements of third-party stakeholders and professional standards organisations. Fusion oversee the main contractor procurement and provided site inspection services during the construction phase. Fusion also managed the procurement of the specialist equipment including hospital beds, trolleys and other training aids.
