Project Summary
Following the merger of Great Yarmouth College and Lowestoft College to form East Coast College, Fusion was commissioned to Project Manage a brand-new vocational teaching facility specialising in energy and marine engineering.
Located on the College’s Lowestoft campus, the £12m new build project comprises two engineering workshops, general classrooms, staffrooms and a large conference space. The teaching facilities also include spaces fitted out with specialist equipment supplied by maritime specialist and industry leader, Kongsberg. This includes a state-of-the-art marine simulation suite.
The project included the demolition of an old technology block, construction of the new teaching facility and soft and hard landscaping works was delivered on time and under budget and have since become an integral part of the College campus.
