Project Summary
Alongside the services in relation to the masterplan redevelopment, Fusion was also appointed to provide PM and QS services for the construction of a new all-weather sports pitch on the College’s main campus in St Albans.
The new facility provides a full-size, 11-a-side football pitch with a FIFA certified 3G surface. Additional line markings allow the pitch to be divided into 5, 7 and 9-a-side pitches, allowing greater flexibility and providing the College with the opportunity to rent the facility out to local sports clubs and leagues. The pitch also includes spectator areas, sports-grade perimeter fencing and floodlighting.
