Accounts
Av Kiri
Av joined Fusion in 2023 as Accounts Manager, bringing a diverse and entrepreneurial background to the role. He began his career running a calendar stall at Bluewater Shopping Centre, gaining early experience in business management and client service, before moving on to study Recording Arts at SAE London.
Av later moved into FX trading with a proprietary firm in London, gaining valuable knowledge of financial markets and risk management.
At Fusion, Av applies his broad experience and commercial insight to support the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth management of accounts. His approach combines meticulous attention to detail, providing valuable support to colleagues across the business. Outside of work, Av is an avid reader with a keen interest in linguistics and history and enjoys travelling to explore new cultures and destinations.
Office Administrator
Chrissy Bench
Chrissy is the office administrator in Chelmsford having joined Fusion in November 2021. Chrissy is here to mainly support Sarah the Office Manager with her role.
Chrissy started her career working for organisations including NatWest & James Capel, before taking time out to raise part of her family. She returned to work joining Essex County Council, where she worked until she extended her family. After returning to work, Chrissy worked at Club Woodham and Essex Cricket before recently joining Fusion.
Chrissy hopes to become a valued member of the Fusion Team building strong relationships with clients and staff.
Chrissy loves dogs and has rescued 4. In her spare time, she likes to walk the dogs and goes to various Soul music events, as she loves to dance.
Assistant Project Manager
Charlie O’Shea
Charlie joined Fusion in October 2025, shortly after completing his degree apprenticeship in Civil Engineering. He brings five years of experience in highway design and transport planning, having previously worked as a Highway Engineer supporting the design and delivery of Section 278 and Section 38 highway schemes.
Since joining Fusion, Charlie has supported project leads in the delivery and management of projects for both public and private sector clients across a range of sectors. His technical background in highways and transportation complements his project management experience, giving him a strong understanding of design, technical coordination and project delivery.
Charlie is working towards achieving his MRICS qualification as he continues to develop his career in project management and the property and development sector.
Outside of work, Charlie enjoys a range of sports and keeping active. He also has a passion for music and regularly DJs and promotes his own house music events.
Senior Project Manager
Charlene Pearman – BSc (Hons), MSc, MAPM
Charlene has a master’s degree in project management and a bachelor’s degree in Genetics. She started her project management career with Fusion and is assisting on a range of construction projects in the education sector within London’s Tri-borough area.
Before working in Project Management Charlene enjoyed a diverse career spanning Hospitality and Medical Laboratories.
Charlene is a member of the Association of Project Management and is working towards her RICS accreditation.
Outside of work Charlene is an active member of the community, regularly volunteering for local charities, as well being a part of the Girl Guiding family where she is a Brownie leader.
Director
Chris Wrench – BSc (Hons) MRICS
Chris is a Chartered Member of the RICS and has a BSc in Construction Consultancy Management from Greenwich University. As an Associate Director, Chris has over 12 years of experience delivering strategic and construction project management services across a range of clients.
Director
Dan Porter – MSc, MAPM
Dan’s project experience ranges from small refurbishments to large new builds and multi-phased redevelopments up to a value of £80m, working for clients in the FE, HE and commercial sectors. His approach is to build strong relationships with clients and working to ensure that their key project drivers are met, whilst being proactive in finding solutions to any project challenges that may arise. Dan also provides strategic advice for clients, including property strategy capital funding bid support.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys watching football and is a lifelong supporter of Newcastle United, despite being born in Essex.
Associate Director
Dan Powell – BSc (Hons)
Dan has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. He started his career in a PQS role and went on to join a main contractor as their lead Quantity surveyor. Dan is now an Associate Director of Quantity Surveying for Fusion.
Dan’s approach is to embed himself within the client’s team to not only act as the projects Quantity Surveyor but to become part of the overall team to ensure all works are fully designed in line with the selected procurement route and the risk moving forward for the client is mitigated.
Dan has a vast experience within the construction sectors of both new build and refurbishment. His main areas of expertise are within Education and Healthcare. Dan has also delivered a vast range of commercial and residential project from early feasibility through to project completion.
Outside of work Dan enjoys golf, motorsport and running.
Contract & Bid Manager
Danielle Denwood
Danielle joined Fusion at the end of February as the Contract and Bid Manager, this is a new role within the company but with 20 years’ experience of being a merchandiser her skillset is unique. Danielle is organised and has the ability to identify problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
Having built strong, lasting relationships over the years, Danielle is capable of liaising with multiple individuals/clients/suppliers to pull all of the information together, whilst keeping a level head, and meeting the deadline.
Outside of work Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being a mum to two young girls, as well as going to the gym when she has the time.
Associate Director
Darren King – BSc (Hons)
Darren joined the Fusion QS team in March 2024 as an Associate Director. He has brought significant Project Management and Quantity Surveying experience to the team from working in various sectors from Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Residential for over the past 30 years.
Darren is responsible for the various RIBA stages of Cost Planning, Tendering, Financial Reporting and Change Control plus his previous Contractor experience allows him to work effectively alongside the appointed Main Contractor in managing the Clients financial interests.
Darren has a keen interest in construction and in particular working with historic buildings. Outside of work, Darren enjoys spending time in his workshop and visiting the Cotswolds.
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Dean Grundy – BSc (Hons)
Dean has been a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry for more than 20 years and has experience in a range of sectors that include Energy, Transport, Education and Commercial projects.
Prior to joining Fusion, Dean was involved in many secondment roles for large organisation, undertaking cost planning and reporting, benchmarking and general cost advice throughout the life cycle of the projects he worked on. This has allowed him to develop his knowledge and skillset a diverse range of environment. Dean is now working towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor with the RICS, to further develop his expertise in the industry.
Outside of work Dean is a keen follower of cricket and football and he is really looking forward to the future, seeing his boys start to play the games more seriously.
