Assistant Project Manager
Haydn Good
Haydn joined Fusion in September 2021, as an Assistant Project Manager, having graduated from University of East Anglia (UEA), where he studied a BA in Geography. Haydn is currently developing his knowledge, working alongside colleagues in one of Fusion’s Project Management teams, assisting on various Further Education schemes, including New Hall School and Oakwood House.
Haydn is looking forward to gaining experience and developing his skills in project management, whilst working on a variety of projects in the Education sector. Outside of work, Haydn enjoys staying active and is a keen swimmer and footballer.
Project Manager
Jack Hammond
Jack joined Fusion in February 2019 as an Assistant Project Manager, coming from a background in Construction Project Management where he worked on small residential developments and commercial fit-out projects. During Jack’s time at Fusion he has helped with the project management of several complex FE and HE projects.
Jack is able to quickly establish strong working relationships with our clients and other members of the wider project team with emphasis on understanding and fulfilling each client’s aspirations.
Following the recent completion of a BSc Access Course with the University of Estates Management, Jack is continuing to expand his knowledge with his progression towards a degree in Construction Project Management.
Whilst not at work, Jack enjoys watching and playing football, keeping fit and spending time with his family.
Project Manager
Joe Ayling – BA (Hons)
Joe joined Fusion in February 2020 as an Assistant Project Manager, having completed an Undergraduate Degree in Leadership and Management. Joe is currently developing his project management skills working alongside colleagues on a range projects for Higher Education and Further Education Clients.
Joe’s previous experience and educational background means he is already experienced in building collaborative relationships with colleagues and clients alike. Joe enjoys getting to know clients in order to understand their key objectives and then working with the project team to help to deliver them.
Associate Director
John Hurley
John joined Fusion as an Associate Director in the Quantity Surveying team in 2021. Having gained experience working as an Estimator for a principal contractor, he then moved into Quantity Surveying, specialising in interior fit-outs and refurbishments for public and private sector clients.
He has since worked in Senior QS roles working on premium housing developments in London, and a range of public sector schemes. John’s professional, positive and personable approach has led to successful delivery of projects for a large portfolio of clients.
Outside work, John enjoys watching and playing sport, and holidaying abroad.
Project Manager
Lauren Pryor
Lauren has been with Fusion since 2015, joining as an Assistant Project Manager before working her way up to becoming a PM herself. Having previously worked for a supplier in the construction industry, Lauren has experience working on both the client and contractor side of a project team.
Since joining Fusion, Lauren has worked on a range of refurbishment and new build projects ranging up to a value of £11m in the education, commercial, residential and healthcare sectors. Alongside her project work, she has also achieved her certification in RICS Construction Project Management Instance and has achieved her APM accreditation by become a full member of the Association for Project Management.
Lauren’s approach is to fully commit herself to the project and to be organised and thorough to ensure that all actions are recorded, tracked and closed. This has allowed her to create a reputation with her clients as a dedicated and reliable Project Manager.
Associate Director
Luke Ridgwell – MSci (Hons) MSc MRICS
Luke joined Fusion as a graduate in 2015 and has benefitted from Fusion’s commitment to training and developing new talent. During his time at Fusion Luke has obtained a masters degree in Construction Management and qualified as a Chartered Project Management Surveyor.
Luke has experience of new build and refurbishment projects of varying sizes across a number of sectors including education, residential, healthcare & aviation. Luke is well-versed in administering both NEC and JCT forms of contract and has completed a number of projects to BIM Level 2. Luke has also been involved in a number of projects involving multiple stakeholders and complex legal arrangements including development finance, sale and leasebacks and agreements to lease with works. Outside of work Luke enjoys watching and playing sport and is a keen runner and triathlete.
Programme Manager
Marilyn Cornwell – BSc(Hons) MRICS
Marilyn is a highly motivated and experienced Programme Manager who has successfully managed multi-faceted and complex projects for over 15 years. Her background is primarily within the local authority housing sector delivering major refurbishment projects between £2M – £47M per annum.
Associate Director
Martyn Fletcher
Martyn joined Fusion PM in early 2020 as an Associate Director in the Project Management team.
Martyn has over 21 years of experience in the construction sector in both client-facing and operational roles. He has been involved in both private and public sector fit-out and construction projects with large corporations and SME’s with values ranging up to £60m. With a focus on strategic client and stakeholder engagement as well as business development, Martyn’s forte is developing existing and building new relationships as well as pushing into new markets and sectors. With a dual role of work winning and delivery, Martyn aims to help drive Fusion’s growth along with the rest of the team.
Outside of work, Martyn enjoys spending time with his wife and two children traveling and exploring the countryside and is a keen (if somewhat average) squash player.
Director
Matthew Hirst – BA (Hons) PGDip MRICS
Matthew is a much respected Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience in property consultancy. Matthew started his career by originally studying Town and Country Planning at University before completing a post graduate degree in Property Development and Planning.
Associate Director
Megan Baker – BSc (Hons) AssocRICS
Megan joined Fusion in 2018, coming from a background in Quantity Surveying focused on civil engineering and the instalment of telecommunication/ emergency service networks for a Tier 2 contractor. Megan has her BSc in Quantity Surveying and also a HNC in Construction and the Built Environment. Megan has obtained her AssocRICS and is working towards obtaining MRICS.
In addition to her Quantity Surveying role, Megan also leads as Project Manager on a number of her projects. Her projects are across varying sectors including education, agriculture, and science/ laboratories.
As part of Megan’s role at Fusion, whether leading from a Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager position, her drive is always to deliver schemes that are commercially competitive, to a high quality and on time and feels her experience in both disciplines has strengthened her abilities to deliver these key drivers for her clients.
When Megan’s not wearing her QS, PM, or CA hat, you’ll find her adventuring outdoors be it bike riding or paddle boarding.
