Assistant Project Manager
Jack Carling

Jack joined Fusion at the beginning of 2025 following his degree in business management and has since been involved in a variety of Oxford-based projects, primarily for St John’s College. These include a new-build project, refurbishment projects and, a strategic masterplan focused on decarbonising the College’s estate. He has gained experience across all RIBA stages, working closely with associate directors and directors to help deliver a wide range of residential, commercial, and campus improvement projects.

Jack is set to begin a Master’s degree in Construction Management, which will support his continued professional development and deepen his industry knowledge.

Outside of work, Jack enjoys going to the gym, playing football, and has a keen interest in sustainable and high-quality design.

Senior Project Manager
Jack Hammond

Jack joined Fusion in February 2019 as an Assistant Project Manager, coming from a background in Construction Project Management where he worked on small residential developments and commercial fit-out projects. During Jack’s time at Fusion he has helped with the project management of several complex FE and HE projects.

Jack is able to quickly establish strong working relationships with our clients and other members of the wider project team with emphasis on understanding and fulfilling each client’s aspirations.

Following the recent completion of a BSc Access Course with the University of Estates Management, Jack is continuing to expand his knowledge with his progression towards a degree in Construction Project Management.

Whilst not at work, Jack enjoys watching and playing football, keeping fit and spending time with his family.

Senior Project Manager
Joe Ayling – BA (Hons)

Joe joined Fusion in February 2020 as an Assistant Project Manager, having completed an Undergraduate Degree in Leadership and Management. Joe is currently developing his project management skills working alongside colleagues on a range projects for Higher Education and Further Education Clients.

Joe’s previous experience and educational background means he is already experienced in building collaborative relationships with colleagues and clients alike. Joe enjoys getting to know clients in order to understand their key objectives and then working with the project team to help to deliver them.

Associate Director
John Hurley

John joined Fusion as an Associate Director in the Quantity Surveying team in 2021. Having gained experience working as an Estimator for a principal contractor, he then moved into Quantity Surveying, specialising in interior fit-outs and refurbishments for public and private sector clients.

He has since worked in Senior QS roles working on premium housing developments in London, and a range of public sector schemes. John’s professional, positive and personable approach has led to successful delivery of projects for a large portfolio of clients.

Outside work, John enjoys watching and playing sport, and holidaying abroad.

Quantity Surveyor
Jon Coales

Jon joined Fusion as a Surveyor in 2025, with 7 years’ experience and a degree in Quantity Surveying. With a solid foundation in construction cost management, he is currently working towards achieving chartered status.

Jon works predominantly on new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects within the public sector, with a particular focus on education. He plays a key role in managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and supporting the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. Jon is actively involved in cost planning, tendering, contract administration, and financial reporting, providing clients with clear, accurate advice at every stage of a project.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys watching sports, going to the gym, and taking holidays abroad.

Assistant Project Manager
Kimberley Harmsworth

Kim joined Fusion in summer 2022, bringing with her valuable experience as an Assistant Project Manager and CAD Technician. With a strong foundation in architecture, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Technology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Building Information Modelling and Management.

Since joining Fusion, Kim has contributed to a diverse portfolio of capital projects across multiple sectors, including education, commercial, and new-build housing. Her project experience ranges from smaller-scale developments, such as a £100k new-build equestrian arena at a private school, to larger, high-value schemes involving redevelopment and new construction projects worth up to £15m.

Kim values the opportunity to combine her academic studies with hands-on experience, as it allows her to apply newly acquired skills directly to live projects. She particularly enjoys the initial design and concept stages of a project, as well as the construction phase and collaborating with on-site teams.

Outside of work, Kim has a passion for travel, cooking, and hosting memorable events for friends and family.

Senior Project Manager
Lauren Pryor

Lauren has been with Fusion since 2015, joining as an Assistant Project Manager before working her way up to becoming a PM herself. Having previously worked for a supplier in the construction industry, Lauren has experience working on both the client and contractor side of a project team.

Since joining Fusion, Lauren has worked on a range of refurbishment and new build projects ranging up to a value of £11m in the education, commercial, residential and healthcare sectors. Alongside her project work, she has also achieved her certification in RICS Construction Project Management Instance and has achieved her APM accreditation by become a full member of the Association for Project Management.

Lauren’s approach is to fully commit herself to the project and to be organised and thorough to ensure that all actions are recorded, tracked and closed. This has allowed her to create a reputation with her clients as a dedicated and reliable Project Manager.

Assistant Project Manager
Liah Richardson

Liah joined fusion in 2023 as an Assistant Project Manager after completing a degree in Law with Business at the University of Essex.

Since joining the team, Liah has been involved in Projects such as Capel Manor College and Rothamsted Research Centre. In addition to her project responsibilities, she has also become a member of Fusion’s marketing team.

At Fusion, Liah is known for her energetic and bubbly personality. Around the office, she’s perhaps equally well known for maintaining an impressively stocked snack drawer that’s always a popular destination among colleagues.

Associate Director
Luke Ridgwell – MSci (Hons) MSc MRICS

Luke joined Fusion as a graduate in 2015 and has benefitted from Fusion’s commitment to training and developing new talent. During his time at Fusion Luke has obtained a masters degree in Construction Management and qualified as a Chartered Project Management Surveyor.

Luke has experience of new build and refurbishment projects of varying sizes across a number of sectors including education, residential, healthcare & aviation. Luke is well-versed in administering both NEC and JCT forms of contract and has completed a number of projects to BIM Level 2. Luke has also been involved in a number of projects involving multiple stakeholders and complex legal arrangements including development finance, sale and leasebacks and agreements to lease with works. Outside of work Luke enjoys watching and playing sport and is a keen runner and triathlete.

Assistant Project Manager
Lee Watson MSc, BA (Hons)

Lee joined Fusion in February 2025 after completing his Business Management MSc at Queen Mary University London.

Since joining, Lee has been heavily involved in Kent County Councils “SHQ” project, helping with the Sessions House Decant, Basement Propping Works and refurbishment of Invicta House. Alongside this, he is assisting on the Latymer School library extension project.

Lee is also part of the coaching staff at his local semi-professional football team, Brentwood Town FC – where he assists the first team and Under 23’s team
